Terms of Service

Welcome to Wet Tail. These Terms of Service set out the basis on which we sell our products to you. Please read them carefully — they explain your rights, our responsibilities, and how we work together. If anything is unclear, we're always glad to help at contact@wet-tail.com.

1Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.wet-tail.com (the "Site") and your purchase of any products offered through it. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns Policy, which are incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect once posted, and the "last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Changes do not apply retroactively to orders already placed; your order is governed by the Terms in effect at the time you placed it.

3Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Site and place an order. By using the Site, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

4Our products

All products are subject to availability. We take great care to display colours, prints and details as accurately as possible, but we cannot guarantee that your screen will render them exactly — small differences are part of how garments are made. Minor variations in colour, texture or sizing may occur between production runs.

Product descriptions, including fabric composition, care guidance and sizing, are provided for information. We reserve the right to limit quantities, to discontinue any product, and to correct errors at any time.

5Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency you select on the Site; the default currency is Euro (€). All prices are inclusive of shipping and, for the destinations we serve, are sold Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) — meaning customs duties, import fees and applicable taxes are included. You will not be asked to pay any additional charges on delivery.

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment providers; we do not store your card details. The price that applies to your order is the one displayed at the time of purchase.

In the rare event that a product is listed at a clearly incorrect price due to a technical error, we may cancel the affected order and notify you. If payment has already been taken, we will refund it in full.

6Your order and our contract

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We will send an order confirmation email acknowledging receipt — this does not yet form a contract. A binding contract is formed only once we dispatch your order and send you a shipping confirmation.

We may refuse or cancel an order at our reasonable discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, unavailability, or incomplete order information. If we cancel an order you have paid for, you will receive a full refund.

7Shipping and delivery

Full details are set out in our Shipping & Returns Policy. In summary:

  • We ship to the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the United States, Canada and Australia.
  • Shipping is free on all orders, sent Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). No additional charges apply on delivery.
  • Orders are processed within 1–3 business days; estimated delivery is 7–15 business days after dispatch.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, incorrect addresses, carrier disruptions, weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

8Returns and refunds

Full details are set out in our Shipping & Returns Policy. In summary:

  • You may request a return within 14 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed and unaltered, with all original tags attached.
  • Return shipping is arranged and paid by the customer.
  • For customers in the United States, Canada, Switzerland and Australia, approved refunds are issued to the original payment method less a 15% restocking fee.
  • Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom benefit from a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Where you exercise this right, the price of the goods is refunded in full; the cost of returning the goods is borne by you. We may reduce a refund to reflect any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to assess the item.
  • Faulty, damaged or incorrect items are returned and refunded in full, at our expense, in accordance with your statutory rights.

9Intellectual property

All content on the Site — text, images, graphics, logos, product designs, photography and brand elements — is the exclusive property of Wet Tail Clothing Studio Limited or its licensors, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display or otherwise exploit any of it without our prior written consent.

10Your account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or are used for fraudulent activity.

11Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose; not to attempt unauthorised access to any part of it; not to interfere with its operation; not to submit false or misleading information; not to use automated systems to scrape or extract data; and not to resell products purchased from the Site without our written consent.

12Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wet Tail Clothing Studio Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law — including your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer.

13Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wet Tail Clothing Studio Limited, its directors, officers, employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

14Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

For consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom: nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory statutory rights under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence, and you may bring claims before the competent courts of that country. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

For consumers in the United States, Canada, Switzerland and Australia: we will first seek to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation. Where this is unsuccessful, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Hong Kong SAR, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction.

15Force majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where it results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, war, government action, embargoes, carrier disruptions, labour disputes or failures of utilities or telecommunications.

16Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

17Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Wet Tail Clothing Studio Limited regarding your use of the Site and purchase of products.
